Kitchensink Rescue Farm & Sanctuary, located in Roberts Creek, B.C., offers refuge, protection, and love to animals in need while fostering genuine compassion on a global scale. Since its founding in 1999, the sanctuary has been dedicated to rescuing and caring for countless abused, neglected, and injured animals. It provides a safe haven for a diverse range of species, including cows, pigs, sheep, goats, horses, dogs, cats, chickens, and more. In alignment with its commitment to inclusivity, Kitchensink prioritizes creating an environment that welcomes everyone. The sanctuary is proudly led by individuals from Indigenous, BIPOC, and LGBTQ2S+ communities, and this diversity is reflected across its volunteer staff as well. Through its advocacy for diversity and empathy, Kitchensink strives to cultivate a space of warmth and acceptance for all, humans and animals alike, both within the sanctuary and beyond.
