Twin Heart Animal Sanctuary is a small but vital farm animal refuge located in Tappen, British Columbia. The sanctuary provides rescued farm animals with peaceful, loving care while serving as ambassadors to remind the world that they are no different from beloved companion animals like dogs and cats Twin Heart Animal Sanctuary. Founded and operated by longtime vegans Diane and Harry Nicholson, the sanctuary exemplifies compassion in action, welcoming animals who need a safe haven and demonstrating how shared empathy can bridge species and foster global understanding. Kindred Community Farm Sanctuary
Kindred Farm believes in the healing power of the human/animal bond, creating a safe, compassionate space where people and animals recover from trauma and rediscover joy. Partnered with local and provincial rescue groups, the farm offers a last chance home for hard-to-adopt farm animals and is now home to 61 residents.
