About Pan's Mushroom Jerky!
Pan's Mushroom Jerky uses umami-rich shiitake mushrooms to create a snacking experience with the delicious flavour of mushrooms and the satisfying chewiness of jerky.
It all started during a trip to Malaysia in 2006, visiting family Michael hadn’t seen in years. Little did he know that he would discover a recipe that had been in his family for decades. Many of his family members are vegetarian Buddhists, and they shared lots of vegetarian dishes with him. Many included mushrooms - which not only tasted great, they were also satisfying and healthy. When he tried this particular snack made of shiitake mushrooms, he knew he had something to share with the world. Pan's was featured on Shark Tank!
